BEST PLAY/WORST PLAY (in development)

BEST PLAY/WORST PLAY is an epic theatrical event based on thousands of surveys that reveal what people most – and least – want to see in a piece of theatre. This project is broken into 2 phases. Following a national survey that polls Canadians on their hypothetical best and worst theatrical experience, we will present our findings at Club PuSh in 2012 (PHASE 1) in an interactive and playful scientific presentation. We will have answers to burning questions such as:

• ‘Would you rather laugh or cry while watching a show?’
• ‘Do you prefer music to speaking?’
• ‘Do you prefer a love scene or a fight scene?’ or even
• “Would you rather see a dog or a child onstage?”

PHASE 2 of the project sees us creating a two-act play where the first act is, statistically speaking, “the best” play and act two is “the worst”. Premiering spring 2013.
